The U.S. House Speaker’s Task Force on Intergovernmental Affairs is considering reviving a version of the defunct Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (ACIR). Task force member Gerry Connolly of Virginia has prepared a bill that would create a successor to the ACIR called the National Commission on Intergovernmental Relations. Read more here.
