David Post writes that if the Supreme Court reverses earlier precedent rejecting state taxes on Internet sales, the ruling would have a “truly prodigious practical, economic significance.” Post contends that a better solution than allowing each state to tax online-only retailers would be for Congress to pass a law taxing all such sales.
