Justice Clarence Thomas has issued a certiorari statement in which he questions the federal government’s inconsistent approach to regulating marijuana. Thomas contends that the “contradictory and unstable state of affairs” created by the federal government “strains basic principles of federalism and conceals traps for the unwary.” Read more here.
