Efforts at Collaborative Federalism in Indian Lockdown Questioned

Yogesh Pratap Singh and Ashirbad Nayak write that no serious effort was made to coordinate between the national and state governments in preparing for the nation’s strict lockdown. They contend that “unless collaborative federalism is implemented . . . by taking all the states together and not confining to a few, the lockdown may unfortunately prove to be an exercise in futility.” Read more here.
