Resolution of Federal-State Marijuana Conflict?

In January, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the end of an Obama-era policy that curtailed federal marijuana prosecutions. In response, Colorado Republican senator Cory Gardner held up a number of Justice Department nominations to pressure Sessions into changing his policy. It appears that President Trump and Gardner have made an agreement by which Gardner will allow the nominations to proceed. In return, the administration will refrain from prosecuting marijuana sales in states where the sales are legal. Read more here and here.
